As of October 1st, 2007, JIT Corporation and NYK Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd. have merged and commenced operation as NYK Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd.
JIT Corporation was established on December 15th, 1983 as Japan Intermodal Transport Co., Ltd. and changed its company name to JIT Corporation in June 2001. JIT Corporation has continuously provided NVOCC services to its customers.
NYK Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd. was established on April 30th, 2004 mainly to engage in through transport logistics attuned to NYK's overseas logistics network and third party logistics (3PL) in Japan.
By this merger, we are providing more comprehensive services of NVOCC and also total logistics solutions to our customers.
